İşte efsanevi kadro. Eagles, Hotel California'yı seslendirdiği günlerde: Timothy B. Schmit, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Henley ve Don Felder

Eagles grubu 1971 yılında Don Henley ile Glenn Frey'in bir araya gelmesiyle kuruldu. 1972 yılında çıkan ilk albümleri "Take It Easy" adını taşıyordu. Daha sonraları gitarist Don Felder gruba katıldı.
1976'ya kadar dört albüm çıkardılar. "Lying Eyes" adlı single'larıyla Grammy ödülü de kazandılar. Fakat en başarılı albümleri 1976 Aralık ayında çıkan "Hotel California"'dır ki dünya çapında 9 milyondan fazla satmış, Billboard listelerinde bir numaraya çıkmış ve Eagles'a Altın Plak ödülü kazandırmıştır.
1981'deki son albümleri "Eagles Live" dan sonra dağıldılar ve bir daha bir araya gelmeyeceklerini duyurdular. 14 yıl aradan sonra tekrar bir araya gelip "Hell Freezes Over" albümünü yaptılar.

Mehmet Barış Manço, 2 Ocak 1943 tarihinde, Rikkat ve İsmail Hakkı Manço çiftinin dördüncü çocukları olarak İstanbul, Moda’da dünyaya geldi.
